We shamelessly tow this monster behind us everywhere we go.  It gets us around town and out into the wilderness.

It was dubbed "Franken Jeep" when it was completed.  Originally just a body and frame from a wrecking yard, Jim worked on it evenings and weekends for about a year.  Everything was carefully researched and planned.  When he would talk about it it was like he was speaking another language, "blah, blah, axels...articulation,... spindles, lockers, blah, blah".  None of us understood his vision, but Matthew and Maddie had faith and would hang out in the garage handing him tools, Cindy would cook food to sustain his efforts.  And then finally.....it was done!!!   Very little of it is actually Jeep.  Scavenged from dead vehicles of all types, it was something new and wonderful...it was FRANKEN JEEP!!

Cindy and Maddie like to sneak off in it together 'cause it's wicked-cool and they look good in it!!

  Jim scaring our nephew Michael.

We do it because we can!!
